Becm has decided to stop going to sleep

Reason for battery drain has been found!
Previously when the RF receiver was waking the car up, it would go to sleep and wake a second or 2 later, now it's not going to sleep at all so I'm thinking it's a different problem.
Becm can see the car is in park so it's not that. Door closed switches seem to be working ok, there's no beep or warning on the dash.
Do i start pulling fuses and relays, one at a time? Or can i use my ammeter across the fuse holder to see what's drawing power? If so, any likely culprits to start with?
Any other likely suggestions? Pull the eas delay timer?

I started with the delay timer, that didn't help, but it started raining heavy so i sat and waited for it to stop. Turned the radio on and I'm getting virtually no signal on any station! I don't care about the radio but could this be related to the becm not going to sleep?

I had the very same problem... it was the alarm sensor on the door pillar.

That's interesting, do you superlock yours? I thought the sensors were only powered when in use

sometimes yes,

It was causing all sorts of problems, I had the Alarm fault error msg on the dash board and no local (landrover specialist!!) garage or auto electrician could work out what it was, it wasn't until I found this site that I got it fixed. I will try and link it in.

Aerial earthing shouldn't effect anything but it may be worth checking in case there is another doofer connected ...

This is what I was looking for....

'Out of interest, did it flash on on the dash 'alarm fault' when you put the key in? Mine did for ages, replaced the ultrasonic sensor on the b-pillar and that sorted it. As for the battery drain, I just disconnected the blue wire and no problems since, not paying the money they want for a replacement!'

Thanks for the effort everyone, this time it was me being stupid as is often the case!!
I'd left the obd adapter plugged in!!!
Sometimes the simple things are easy to overlook

Unplug all the unnecessary crap you got in there to eliminate that. Think you need the becm asleep to perform an accurate draw test so I’m down to pulling fuses 1 by 1 until it goes to bed

Nothing on nanocom showing up?

It's going to sleep now, I've no reason to believe there's any other actual problem

youll need to disconnect the bonnet electrical connector to stop bonnet open/ door ajar so you can get to fuse box inside if you need to. Ammeter in series on neg terminal - cable
Usual sleep draw should be in mili amps. Anything in amps is drain, then you pull the fuses one by one until it goes. Battery needs to be tip top before testing.

I had draw from interior lights one time even though they weren’t alight. Pulled bulbs out as sometimes when I reconnect battery I set windows but forget to turn lights off holding button.

Checked my battery this morning, before I had breakfast!! and it was still showing 12.7v
