I recently purchased an 02 RR HSE. It would not start or run, so I replaced the crankshaft sensor. Runs really well now, although there is a slight skip in it. I noticed an oil leak and turns out the camshaft position sensor is not there. The hole where it inserts is leaking oil. I can get the sensor, but have a question about how it installs. I noticed the hole has threads tapped into it, but I don't see how or where a screw or bolt screws through the sensor and into the block.
It appears in diagrams that there is an o ring that goes in, then the sensor is inserted, and then a small bolt screws through the mounting bracket and into the block, just to the side of the where the sensor is inserted.
