Dads range rover

Hi everyone new to this so bear with me. The battery went flat over a few days so wouldnt unlock, put key in door unlocked and recharged battery. Key will unlock car turn ignition on but wont start or even turn over !! Dash says code _ _ _ _ help !! Thanks
 
Have you tried pressing the unlock button on the fob while the key is in the ignition turned on to re sync the key.
 
Happened to mine at garage when they left something on as they did gearbox service, lot of head scratching by the worried mech, he asked me for the code, to which I laughed out loud saying "Ain't gotta scooby" (Nor will I ever:rolleyes:)
Then he imaginatively entered 1-1-1-1 as the password!
Broom Broom warble, all eight fired up:D

Thanks for reply, how did he put code in ?? Dads aint got no sat nav.

And enter 0000 and see what happens.....It mentions the emergency code de-activation process, but don't know what that is....I am going to see if I can find out....as I said before Gooooooogle is your friend!
 
Now I've read Saint's reply I wonder if it is in fact 0-0-0-0 that got mine activated, it was 3 years ago and I can can scarcely remember to put the bins out in correct sequence, life is so complicated nowadays, must be doubly hard for a colour blind person,,,,putting the bins out that is.

Thanks for that saint. Not sure what the buttons are as my dad aint got the radio manual !! Have tried to find the manual on google with the buttons numbered but havnt been able to track it down yet. I work away and wont be home till weekend and trying to explain it to dad over the phone is hard work, he is 77 !!. Has anyone got a page that numbers the buttons to try an simplyfy it
 
All I can say is I feel your pain, my old man tried to use the TV remote to phone someone once:p

Simply tell your dad that number 0 and 1 are the same button and it's nearest the passenger side, he must press the button on it's leftmost edge for the 0,,,,,press 4 times for 0-0-0-0.
Is there anybody you could call to assist him? A grand-kid perhaps?
 
Ok everyone just an update. 0000 or 1111 wouldnt work still asking for code !! Contact landrover they have never heard of this prob as l322 does not have a code. Yesterday put fuse in 37 trans box in neutral towed it to my work 5 miles away took fuse out not asking for code started straight up !!! Hows that work ???? Thanks for all your ideas

Thats just how good landrover in stoke are mate had them telling me it cant happen with that vehicle, obviously dont no what they are on about !!
