2002 L322 door lock

Sorry I know it's a door lock question BUT I have nearly finished my 2002 L322 vouge 4.4 and I cannot get the n/s front door to lock to work with the central locking, it does lock using the door button. I have replaced the catch for a new expensive one but still no joy,. Any ideas please

Have you checked you are getting a power feed at the lock when you press the fob, could be broken wire to lock

Will give it a try but me and electrics don't go together, will let you know how I get on

And yet you bought a Range Rover.....tut tut....hee hee

Well sorted the problem...the multi plug between the door and body was corroded, so a quick clean and bingo lock now works
