2000 P38 takes bumps really hard!

Hello all. I have a 2000 p38 4.6 and it takes bumps really hard.

The only thing i can think of is the shock absorbers being shot??

Does it sit high enough? I.e. it's not coming into contact with the bumpstops is it? Does it bump hard at both ends? Both sides?

check tyre pressure, not driving at acess height setting. how fast are you going over the bumps?

Do you mean it's generally hard feeling? Mine's been like that since I put a new front prop on - my vcu is a bit suspect so I'm wondering if that is causing it.

Might be worth doing the viscous coupling test although I found it all a bit inconclusive. I'm going to replace mine anyway when funds allow.

going at normal speeds it feels like the shocks arent working. Not normal.

check the bushes if they are poly bushes that can make it hard on bumps

what size tyres do you have on, as that can make for a poor ride..
