2000 DISCOVERY2 V8 PETROL Diagnostics

Evening all.

I have read several posts with regards Hawkeye Nancom Blackbox MSV etc.
However Petrol D2s seem to only be mentioned as "partially covered" by the Currently unavailable Nancom.

Are there alternatives for the V8 ?

Is there a "preferable" system for the V8 ?

Anyones experience would be greatly appreciated before I spend my hard earned.

As I've seen from the aplication lists the best for petrol is Hawkeye http://shop.difflock.com/download/Hawkeye.pdf , nanocom is dedicated for Td5, that's why it covers it partially.......it won't work on petrol engine's ECU(EMS)....in contradistiction to Hawkeye, in exchange Hawkeye does not cover BCU(except security).....and that's a bit annoying(cause the BCU gets frequently tricky).

Maybe the faultmate could provide a better coverage.......it's not an easy choice............good luck

For me is much better, I just wait for the new Nanocom and grab it rapidly.
