been looking and thinking of putting a 200 tdi in my 90 and must admit there are some bargains out there.£200-£350 seem to get you an engine and all or most of the ancilleriy parts.my local landy garage wants £1500 to supply and fit a 200 tdi into my 90 is this over the top or what should i expect to pay?

you could try to do it yerself it aint that hard .....

£1500 for a roll in - roll out job sounds pretty good to me. As long as you get a good guarantee on the engine and you can see one they have done before.
Safari engineering in Surrey/Hampshire do it for £1800.

If you haven't got the time or tools or place to do the job and you are planning on keeping the Deepender then I would consider £1500 worth it.
