I've put a Defender 200TDi engine in my SWB series 3. I'd already read about possible issues with the front prop shaft touching the oil drain pipe from the cyclone but I must admit that when I looked it seemed unlikely, that was before a set of parabolic springs. I seems that at some point the two have met and the gaiter had been torn. My front prop sliding joint was already a bit worn so before I fitted a new prop I decided to move the pipe currently welded into the sump. It took a while to decide where to move it to, the pics below show what I settled on.
