In that case I'll wait, see if can fix white smoke first. Don't want spend a few quid then find out it's compression

Take a photo of the injector nearest the bulkhead and post it here.
The black pipe with the kink in the end hanging loose near the fuel filter is prob the leak off return pipe. If thats the case, your gonna get air locks. Show me the last injector first.

yes from no1 to rear of injection pumpThere should be a leak off pipe that goes back to the tank.
Looks different to mine, is that leak off pipe on number 4 going back to the pump?
