Not at all! I first used it in a diesel espace which is still going strong some 10 000miles later, if you search on the net you will find lots of positive independant reviews, as they say dont knock it till youv'e tried it. I worked as a landy mechanic for 10 year. So have a reasonable mechanically knowledge as I have already said I was sceptical too!

lets face it all these miracle cures are ****, the only miracle that really worked was turning water into wine, and no ones managedthat fer over 2000 years

Not all of them are ****. I can think of a couple that have worked for me. OM15 hydraulic fluid to decoke my old motorbike, that stuff you bung into your radiator to stop leaks. I'm sure there are other things out there that have worked miracles.

Not sure about those fuel additives though! :p

hydraulic oil has that use as an added extra..no where on the bottle does it claim to be a de-coker.. as fer yer rad seal stuff if the hole is small enough will bung it up along wiff yer radiator and heater core. your better off doing the job properly to save the extra expense

Re the first, yes, but for me (a novice where car mechanics are concerned) its still miracle stuff. As for the second, again, close to miracle stuff, especially as a 'get you home' measure. A bit like tights for fan belts, although you'd probably need Norah Batty's tights for a Disco! :D
