Hi, I have a 1990 200tdi, 110. anyone had any expeirence fitting an electric rad fan. Is it an easy job and does it improve the interia heating.
My present heater takes about 7 miles before it starts to push out warm air and when temperatures drop down to -18 its not very effective.

It will only improve the interior heating if you get rid of the viscous fan unit and have the electric fan on a switch or a temperature sensor. It'll allow the engine to warm up quicker, and thus the heater will get warm quicker.
