200 Tdi exhaust manifold on 300 Tdi head

Morning all...can someone tell me if the 200 tdi exhaust manifold will bolt up to the 300 tdi cylinder head?

I would assume yes, as the 300tdi manifold fits the 200tdi, but can't be 100% sure.

What are you planning on doing out of interest?

Thanks for the reply. Planning to fit a VNT turbocharger with boost controlled by an external wastegate. The 300 tdi manifold would have been ideal for this with the EGR flange, had it not been for the one piece cast manifold/turbo design.

If you're in no rush, I need to pull the exhaust manifold off my 200tdi disco lump and can take some side by side comparison pics with the 300tdi one?

It's sat on the floor in the workshop so its just a case of getting round to it lol

If you could that would be excellent. I'm fairly sure they are interchangeable, I've read accounts of people retro-fitting the 300 manifold to the 200 to change turbo position (not the other way around, although I'm sure it can be done).

Did you have any luck with the pics?

Been a bit pushed for time unfortunately mate, but I do have a pic of the 200TDi manifold on my 200TDi lump on the floor.....




And a 300TDi for comparison...



I'm not sure if the turbo unit is separable, as it looks as though on the 300TDi manifold the wastegate is part of the manifold? I do hope so, else I'll be hunting for a 300TDi turbo as well now Either way, I'm assuming it'll be suitable for what you want it for....
