200 tdi defender

hi, got a she load of water in my defender today and i have bent a con rod or two i think, does anyone know if i have to take the engine right out to repair??? i have started to strip it down today and i carnt seem to get the ladder rack of above the sump, i have taken out ten bolt but it seems to be held by somthing from the gear box side ..........HELP lol

There should be 4 bolts from the fly wheel housing going into the the ladder frame

not whot i wanted to hear but thanks anyway guess i will have to take the whole engine out then
