200 tdi conversion

Hi all,

Bought a 200tdi to replace the 3.9 V8, can no longer afford the fuel!!

It's a '92 classic with an LT77 manual gearbox. I know the bell housing is different but if I change this will the tdi engine go straight on or are there any other differences?

Think you got to change gearbox as well, main input shaft is different size.

it is tdi is 22mm ish v8 19mm ish you need thicker crank bush

Just a thought, could I change the input shaft or would that be to bigger job? also, if I buy a Lt77 tdi gearbox will my borg warner transfer box work with it?
