Wanted 200 or 300tdi fuel injection pump

Evening,

I am after a 200tdi or 300tdi ( non edc ) fuel injection pump.

Anyone got one they are using as a doorstop / nice ornament and they want to get rid of at a reasonable pirce, please PM me details. Delivery to Oxfordshire preferred.

I want to strip it and rebuild it, just for fun.

BTW , do you know for a fact that the 200 and 300 are not interchangeable? I need to get the serial number off of mine to check it out. I have seen the opposite written in other places.

I believe that the timing is different

I have one but I think I removed the throttle lever thing

Two different pumps Err4419 & Err1333 iirc the timing is about 5 degrees out ?? (read it somewhere)
As I was considering trying it as my mate has a 200tdi pump he is giving me & I have a spare 300dti engine.
Someone may come forward with experience of fitting one as I personally haven't.
Nowt to say you cant fit it & mess about with the timing might be worth researching the pump to injector pressures
as this may differ.

Have you got one sorted. Think I have one in the shed that came with a body I purchased!

That may be what I do when I have had a play with stripping it.

Although I am starting to think the one on my 300tdi engine is a 200tdi pump,it has the pump lock bolt, but strangely it has no numbers stamped in the usual place.

Will do, though britannica has done a vid or two on youtube, may be useful if you ever need it.
