one wonders wot the 20th century disco will look like in the arches at say 2020?
Full of rust like all other Disco's :D

Seriously, with all the electronics and air suspension I can't see people wanting to own a D3/D4 when they're 10 years old. Too much to go wrong, unless someone sells kits to remove air suspension etc. Coil suspension base models should be ok?

Unfortunately this will be the case across the entire range.

are they galvanised?
I think they use cathodic protection – electrocuting the metal work to provide anti corrosion.

Went On an Experience half for free recently to test drive a D4 round Eastnor Castle. Fantastic bit of kit the D4. Drove it on and off road too.

Can’t stop thinking a D3 would be nice, when the prices drop in years to come (as my Freelander won’t last for ever) but the big worry for people taking on this sort of vehicle, out of warranty, is the complexity and wads of cash it’ll need to keep it on the road. So far all the D3 owners I’ve spoken to have confirmed this. Also starting to get the same feeling about Freelander 2’s…

well if they don't have fuses in the light circuits i won't be having one. I'm not going to a dealer each time to get the ecu reset.
