2" whitworth spanner

Hi everyone

I am looking for a 2" whitworth spanner which works out about 82mm across the flats.

Needed for Work on my friends traction engine.

I can arrange collection by carrier if makes like easier.

There is a 2inch whitworth slogging spanner on ebay if that's any good to you but it is £36.95

why not just make one out of a piece of 10 or 12 mm plate

Kin ell thats a BIG spanner
Just had a look at my biggest and that's 1"w and 7/8w about 40mm across the flats so the one you want is twice as big

Yep Whitworth is the size of the Bolt stem not the nut size, as AF, metric etc is measured.

Thanks everyone, think we have now got a socket which will do the job but may go for that one on ebay as can belt it.

Yer its pretty massive bolt the engine has one either for the springs.
