oooops sorry i gor i bit excited when i see the 2stroke thread,
but honestely is thebest thing since sliced bread,
ive always have a bottle in the car, i buy the cheapest £1.99 at halfords, (£1.23 with my trade card)
i use just aorun 50ml to a full tank, and honesly on a long motorway ran have got around 50mpg.
bu apart from the mpg the engine runs much smoother, theses cold morning arent a problem with sluggish and noisy winter rattle,

i've been using 2stroke for nearly 2 years now, and the improvment in driveabilaty is worth every penny,
AND IT DOES BURN CLEANER FACT !!!!

watching the list of cars in your signature i can't see a Td5 there... and if you speak abiout a 300Tdi it's other story and the wrong thread cos this one is under Disco 2 prefix

sorry my mistake.
but there are benifits for td5,
the 2 stroke oil will keep the elecrical fuel pump fuel reugualator and basicly the fuel system lubricated,
modern day diesal (low sulphur) has a tendancy of running the system dry or have no lub propertys,
the amount of 2stroke oil you would use is quite small,
and would burn of in combustion

i tried it in my td5, cant say it made any difference, prefer to use an injector cleaner additive every now and again, that makes my engine quiter and more responsive
