next door but one to me is running 255/65/r16 on his 200 with standard spings without any troubles, ok they are road tyres

Some good things to think over, i think i will lift it 2" with just springs+shocks try the tyres with said trimming of the wheel arches and extend the bump stops, and see how it goes.
