Evening all,

Just wondering, before i go doing anything, can i just check

If i lift my disco, the diffs will also be higher wont they?

Went wildtracks at the weekend, got stuck due to diffs getting stuck into the mud :(

I am thinking this is a stupid question, surely fitting a lift kit WILL lift it, but i wanna check

Thanks

Hahaha!! Think about it....diff directly connected to axle, yr lifting OFF the axle - that's like saying if i wear a hat to make me taller will my knees be further off the ground?!!

Or i'm standing on my head!!! then a bigger hat WILL raise my knees!! ergo - if you have a 2" lift your diffs will be further from the ground - when you're upside down on the roof!!

Righty, Thanks for the replies :D

Would the BFG All terrains do the job? currently on 16" wheels

While im here too, Are all the disco throttle pedals quite stiff? i was using my mums new car all last night, got in my disco today and the throttle seems really stiff, i dont know if its just me or not though

As for dif guards, dont have any yet think its time i got some mind :(

the throttle on my 300 was very stiff... take it off at the engine end untangle it and squirt GT85 down it a free it up.
