2.5NA ex MOD air cleaner...help

Hey dudes

i was gonna change the air cleaner elemenmt in my 2.5na. Had a quick look earlier and at the bottom of the air cleaner unit, a pipe is attatched that seems to dissapear down towards the ground. Now according to the manual, this shouldnt be there. Any ideas what it is??

its probably replacing the donkey dick one way valve which often dry out or just vanish.

according to the manual, its just a small opening at the bottom of the air cleaner unit. this one has a long metal pipe dissapearing down. So will this pipe be attatched to anything at the other end, or will it just be a open ended pipe? Cheers for the help
