Hi chaps.
I have an F reg 90. Originally had a 2.5 early turbo but at some stage has been converted back to a normally aspirated lump. The intake is still on the wing. I have bought a Bearmach copy of the safari snorkel. This weekend I will hopefully be fitting it. What I don't like about these early fittings is you are relying totally on the seal around the wing a there is no way of fitting it to the pipe. On an earlier post Wiltshire landyman showed me a picture of his where he had done away with the original pipe and internal plastic parts. He had made up some kind of fitment which was siliconed to the snorkel which allowed him to fit new flexi pipe to directly. Looked like a much better way to do it. Has anyone else experience of this. Also where can I buy flexi waterproof air intake pipe with 2.5" fitment to link up to the airbox?

Many thanks
Richard

Not sure about the fitting or modification of the snorkel but with regards to the air ducting I've bought quite a bit from a seller on eBay and its good quality stuff. Excuse the lack of a link but the item number is 330697248515. There's plenty of different sizes and if you have a look theres lots of air ducting available on ebay

Thanks. I after another look I think I may fit the snorkel the standard way as getting a pipe up the side of the heater box and the wing would be tricky. Land rover would have done that to start with if it was possible rather than have a moulded piece of plastic to get round it. Thank you for your help though.
Richard
