Can anyone give me an idiots guide to doing this in situ?
Having looked at the manual - it makes the assumption that the engine is out of the car and is being completely dismantled.
For example it says "remove water pump" - is that necessary?

Any info wud be apreciated;)

IIRC the water pump is on the front of the injun, immediately in front of the timing chain cover - it's almost egg-sack-tly the same as a mini injun in that respeck (only a sight easier to get to, to work on it).

So, yes, it's neccesary, or you won't be able to take the cover off the timing chain ;) Piece of cake to remove the water pump though isn't it? Some bolts to undo, some coolant to replace and a new gasket for when you stick it back togevver.

Cheers,
