2.5 na diesel engine

I am looking for a 2.5na diesel engine from a defender to fit into my series 3. I am looking for a low mileage non smoking engine that is in very good condition. Please can someone help otherwise its ebay. I need a complete engine. Thanks

Good luck finding a low mileage one...and even if you find one, who's to say its been serviced or looked after as well as one with much higher mileage?

look, I am not too fussed about mileage but just want to get hold of an engine at a reasonable price that does not need a complete rebuild. What with giving me a hard time

Hi, I have a 80k 2.5 n/a coming out of my 90 in a couple of weeks for a 200tdi swap, just waiting for the parts to arrive from Steve Parker, I can include everything including a great exhaust (still has stickers on), all ancillaries, radiator, etc looking for £450
I'm in east Northampton if you want to see it running/ test drive it before I remove it?
