2.5 n/a into a series 3

there's bog all wrong with a 2.5TD - just remember it's not a race engine and that it likes being looked after

however the price of a good one these days is getting close to what you can get a disco 200 for so you might want to spend a little extra on the 200

but then again what's wrong with keeping it orginal ?

the only reason im not keeping it original, is that i want a diesel for wading, and towing things aswell. i had a 2.25 before, and i had nothing but problems with worn injector pumps and over heating. so thought i would try the turbo options, better for towing up hills etc..
but its finding the comprimise between not too much power so that i dont cause any damage to the drive train and relablity.
 
My 2.5 TD has done 103k without any major work been done on it. I was out laning yesterday went with 4 discos a 110tdi and a 2 j**ps. all off them had lift kits and bigger tyres. I went everywhere they went and in 2 places better than they managed. and I used less fuel than all of them.
