Every connection checked in the dash, bumper sensors cleaned reconnected, both fuses are sound.
Dash back together...

Only difference is now the SRS lights blink brighter than ever :(

Note : if you take your glovebox out make sure you refit the ‘open’ switch mechanism first
If not, the screws to get to it are inside and you will lock yourself out permanently. Like I did

Mine required diag to clear the fault before it stopped lighting up.

The airbag module will be the same so may well work on yours if he has a Nanocom.
The early SRS ECU's are different to the later ones with the sensors located internally. Nanocom may cover both,my Faultmate needs an extra software module for the early ones as I bought the software for the later ECU.

Changed with the Thor when the side airbags came in?

Nanocom only has 1 section so guessing it does the lot. ABS is split into WABCO C and D.

Edit. Now I think about it I think the SIPS might have its own section. If you have the EDC it should do both though. I'll have to check next time I have it plugged in.

Nope my P38 made 1998 registered 1999 has the later ECU but no seat airbags. So later unit came in in 1998 or so. 97s i have worked on had the chassis leg mounted sensors. 1997 version of RAVE has no SRS section 1999 and on does. I am sure my older version of RAVE covered it, but i lost that when computer decided not to play and longer one day.
