Hi Can you confirm this is 6 degrees AFTER TDC?, I can`t get my head around setting timing ATDC, but this is what the manual says?

No btdc not after. You cant static time a leccy ign engine I am pretty sure so use a strobe as james m suggests. First marker on left is btdc at 6 deg. Use tippex on the crank pulley

This might be a daft question but why would the manual state 6DATDC when it should be BTDC ? Ive bought a simonbbc elec kit and have not set timing before so looking for a definitive method/setting before i even start

Its because low octane fuels will require altered timing in order to prevent pre ignition. Low octane fuel will need an atdc and higher octane towards btdc.
When you replace the dizzy what I do is move engine so rotor points exactly at number 1 ht lead. Put a ruler through rotor over number 1 to a point on the car and mark with a pen. This will retain your current timing. Pull dizzy and replace lining up rotor and number 1 ht lead. Dont move crank in between!
Then strobe time with vac advance off and lowest rpm without stalling (650 ishrpm) at 6btdc for modern fuel.
