Going up and down.. I hit the gauges and they have gone back to normal for now.... I have been told that it could be the earth.... Could anyone tell me where to look for the earths to tighten?

Also, the doors have had new seals put on and seem to be sticking out a bit.... Any ideas how I can adjust these?..

Thanks

This is pretty much an intro, give the guy a break haha

I don't know mate, but I'm sure eventually someone will help

failing that, a Haynes manual or something might help.

And failing that, if it were me I'd take off the dash and wiggle with the wires and what not until something moved haha. But I'm not very clever :D

..She seems to have a problem, with her temp gauge and fuel gauge. They keep Going up and down.. Thanks

The temp gauge should be a single feed from the engine thermostat
The fuel gauge should be a similar feed from the tank.

By "keeping gowing up and down" - what conditions exactly do the dials exhibit?

Tubes is right.

If it is an earth problem to the dials then they (the dials) could be all over the place.

So - unscrew the instrument binnacle / thingy and have look.

As the two originating voltages (fuel and temp) are physically well apart, it would be perhaps best to look at the guages (and wires to them) themselves.

Or..

Live with it - keep the fuel tank topped up, and if you see steam from the engine then stop, wait till cold and top up the coolant (see advice on coolant mix).

See also heat warped engine and seals horrors... Haha

The doors can be adjusted where they latch onto the B pillar, just loosen and push the latch in a bit.

Dials sound like a bad connection, my fuel gauge never goes above 3/4 full even if the tank is full, I could look into why but can't be bothered.
