1999 freelander wandering

Hi Guys and Gals,
Joined landyzone yesterday and need a bit of help with my 1999 freelander it feels unstable to drive wanders around on the road, I have had new tyres and had the wheels balanced and the wheel alignment done and have taken it to my local garage to have all the bushes and suspention checked and they are all fine. have any of you had this problem before and does anyone have any ideas of what to do next.

Trade it in for a proper landy before it kills ya!!!

On a more serious note was it doing the wandering thing before you had new tyres on it?

yes it was wandering before new tyres were fitted the rear tyres were worn in the center of the tyre which indicates overinflation but that was all.

Take it to a different mechanic and ask him to check your steering rack for play

Thanks for the reply I have had the steering rack checked and all steering joint and they are fine.

have you had all the rear end checked ,shocks bushes anti roll bar etc?

it will be one of the track rod ends
