Bypass the immobiliser?
Basically, on the Disco 2 you can't. It's built into the BCU and the only way to communicate with it is through a compatible code reader, but the immobiliser has to be off or "unset" for that to happen.
A Land Rover main dealer (not a local agent) will maybe have the key details to cut a new one for you, and they will have the Emergency Key Access code which will allow you to get in and start the vehicle.
Then you're going to need a new fob and get it coded for your vehicle.
It ain't gonna be cheap. LR will require proof of ownership before they'll even talk to you about security matters.

Thanks Brian 47 checked my RAC cover and low and behold I have key cover, seems wife added it to policy when I lost keys before
Can and will they be able to do it?
wife says me losing keys is an age thing!

It's possible to disable the immobiliser for good in the BCU settings if that's what you want but before that the EKA code entry is compulsory anyway to remobilise it otherwise the BCU will not comunicate with the tester to disable it.
