Even with Nanocom, you won't see any error codes for incorrect 'injection quantity current' value. I had it fluctuating 0-3, very low value corresponding to a higher injection fuel quantity which in turn flooded the engine and shut it down suddenly like when idling in traffic. Getting it back to around 5 , solved my problem.

True but not all are daft enough to play with the injection pump and not have a clue what they are doing.;);):D

So because I've replaced the in tank pump I don't need to do anything?

No nothing. If there is a lot of air in the clear pipe you could bleed that. You could also remove relay 12 and apply positive from battery to pin five position on board relay 12 location. Number 5 is the connection which is contrary to the other three.
Leave connected for a few minutes and that should self bleed feed pipes and injection pump. It will not of course bleed injection pipes. That must be done by cracking open all the injectors, getting someone to crank engine and close each injector as air free fuel emerges. Engine may start at some point so be ready if it does. Nip up remaining injectors. Remove feed from pin 5 replace relay 12. Job done.

I dont know if this the same for a RR, but I had a Discovery that did the same, I was told to put new copper seals on the injectors.
I could not see this would work but I tried it anyway. It worked, no more problems.

It sounds more like an alarm/immobiliser problem than loss of sync. If the immobiliser is active, the car will not start.
You need someone with a Nanocom of Faultmate.

Have you checked the International Rescue Map?

I work in Maidstone occasionally but not due down for a while.
