1997 disco - clock removal?

Hi noticed last night that my illumination isn't working on my clock.
Removed the switch pod below the clock but can't get the clock/hazard unit out - any ideas???

Sorted - took the cupholder out first and then was able to push out the clock unit from the back!

Glad you posted this, my light stopped working last weekend.
Was the replacement bulb easy to source?

Got 1 from halfords was a straight swap for the 1 i took out.
Did cost £2.50 though!!!!

Yep £2.50 for the bulb with fitted black plastic holder!
Thought the guy on the til was taking the ****!

ah, that must be 2 pounds for the plastic thing and .50 for the bulb, much more realistic :doh:

Think it probably works out £2.30 for the blister pack with carboard back and 20p for the bulb and fitting!!!

Did they say "Stand and deliver" when you tried to pay....I have to do the bulb behind the heater controls at some stage...I'll start saving up for a bulb now....

i will do mine as well no i know, also gotta do the lights which illuminate the heater controls.are these aceessible by removing the drinks tray or does anyone have advice, sensible advice

Think you have to remove the heater knobs to remove the front panel as the bulb is behind it

You can remove the clock by pushing two credit cards in either side, they release the clips. Don't break the cards you need them for buying the bulb.

Go down your local garages, if they're thebulbs I'm thinking about they will prob sell you a box of 10 for around £5, I have these bulbs coming out of my ears at my place!
