Hi.

Need a replacement drivers side taillight (USA left side) for 1996 Disco I. If you have one and are willing to ship it would be greatly appreciated. Let me know cost.

Thanks,

Greg

Is it the one in the body or the bumper, can you put a photo on.
There must be breakers in the US that have them.
I have a pair of genuine LR, that are the body mounted ones.
God knows how much it would cost to post though.

Thanks for the responses. It’s in the body. We have looked and are unable to locate. It’s my son’s car and he is unable to drive at night so I’m willing to help him out with the cost. Attached is photo to confirm. Greg

So are your tail lights different from the UK spec item, as there a few here new and used on the eBay sites and shipping to the states as most other places from the UK isn’t difficult, I’ve done it a few times sending stuff abroad of course there is a cost.

If I had a lamp to weigh then a carrier charge could easily be found, it may be more.
economical to purchase two😊

Thanks for the response. I looked on ebay last night and did not see any.

Lens is good. Looks like the housing behind it is damaged. Part of plastic & screw missing at top and bulb will not stay in place due to damage. Almost looks like someone was trying to remove it at some point and was turning it the wrong way and snapped the screw off? Light in bumper doesn’t work either. I’m assuming that is tied into the upper.

Can you remove the bulb holder from the other side & see if it works in the bad lens? Unsure if the wiring is linked through the bulb/holder.
Need a voltage reader and find the correct cable & trace the wire back to the light that does not work.

There’s 4 variations of D1 tail lights in the life of the 300 series 1995 to1998.
So based on 96/97 MY for UK & the rest of the world the part numbers are PRC6475 RH and PRC6476 LH
As always to get the correct part the VIN No is required.
