P38A 1996 2.5dt Coolant

Hi guys,

Hopefully just a quick one today! Ive just removed my viscous fan and am awaiting delivery of a replacement (came off fist try and no grazes or blood!)

Im going to flush and refill the coolant system after i have refitted the new viscous fan, and i wondered what is the correct type of coolant for my car?

I'm in France at the moment and its pretty warm (40+ degrees yesterday) so should i alter the ratios of coolant:water for these temps?

PS the current coolant is pink - but ill flush it out before i add new so as to avoid contamination and sludging.

dont think it matters how warm it gets,just how cold and as I remember, it gets f@@@@@g cold in your part of the word come January

50-50 ratio of an Ethylene Glycol Based anti-freeze is what RAVE calls for.

O,A,T Is pinky orange and i think it has a longer life, 4 years ,blue is 2 years mostly
