this has most likly been asked many times befor, so sorry

if anybody can send me details or tell me the fix for fixing electic seats instead of manual seats to my rangy i would greatly appreciate it, the new one's have all the toys, but I would settle for back/forward/tilt/up/down - I have tested all the motors they all work,

thanks

Hi - i have spent the weekend sorting all the wiring and s/w's so i now know a bit more.
I now know which s/w wire does what and can get all the motors to work from the s/w's on the pass and the drv's side - i still need to connect the drv side s/w's to the drv seat motors but i need a couple of relays for that yet, I have located a couple of live supplies but was woundering if anybody knows from past experience which is the best live to use ? at the moment i am going to tale it from the fuse box on the drv side unless anybody can suggest a better place

will keep you posted

Lads,
I did this job last year to my 95 DT.
I too tried eveywhere to get the info and then I found the solution.

The solution is to buy the seat wiring loom from someone breaking a RR on E-bay. The guy that sold me the seats, gave me the loom.
He even sent me a picture with all the connectors labeled!
I have it lying around somewhere so I will post it up here over the next few days.

The loom made the job simple.
Plugs directly from both seats to the BECM under the drivers seat.
Run the loom under the carpet. This was easier for me as I was changing the entire interior.
The seats that I got were the electric memory type. After fitting the seats and hooking up the loom, the full electrics and even the memory function worked perfectly. Does not require any plugging into Rovacom.

There were two issues with the finished product.
The heated seats were not activated on the heater controls. This can be activated using Rovacom.
Also the auto mirror dipping function was crazy.
It would dip down going into reverse but instead of going back up when a forward gear was engaged, it would go further down. I think this is due to the different mirror wiring on the DT's.
Not having this didnt bother me and instead I turned it off as per manual.

If there are any questions, just give me a shout here.
