1994 200tdi electrical problem, HELP!!!!!

Hi All,

Went to take her for an MOT this morning and when I got in and checked it over I noticed the stereo wouldn't turn on, then noticed the clock wasn't on. I tried the indicators and they worked, so did the wipers, but then I switched on the lights and nothing!!! WTF!

Can anybody shed any light on my shed???!

Fuses, fuseable links have you checked them?

Checked all fuses, that was my first port of call..

I lost all lights once before and traced it to a relay near the rear lights where someone had hacked into the wires for the tow ball sockets. A wire had broken off so I reconnected and they then worked fine. Not that this time though!

More than likely a bad earth somewhere,a bad earth can cause allsorts of wierd electricall problems

Have you checked the fuse for the tow ball socket?
