Been having alternator belt problems for a while.
Fitted a rebuilt engine 3 years ago.
Went to a 4.6 engine. The heads are off a later engine.
All seems to fit ok, but I can't seem to line up the pulleys properly - thus I'm wearing out belts prematurely.
all the bracketry fits ok, but it leaves the alternator pulleys out of line with the Pas pump pulley.
Has anyone got a photo of a standard alternator fitment in a 1992 RRC v8 please?
Anyone else come across this before?
Do the later heads cause this problem?
