1990 Range Classic 3.9 Petrol Cooling Fan Permanently On

Afternoon all,

Amongst the various maladies my 1990 has it has now decided to keep the radiator fan on permanently.

Any ideas on what part I need to replace to cure? Electric thermostat somewhere?

I am hoping it would be

PRC7918P

Just trying to avoid hours in books, thanks in advance!

It should be a viscous fan. Has your been replaced?

OK embarrassment time...

Of course it is viscous, thank you! Perhaps I should look under the bonnet before posting.

Someone had nudged the (non functional) air conditioning on, it was the fan for that....
