1990 Inner wings

my 1990 V8 has failed its MOT due to corrosion of the offside inner wing along the flat top, and down towards the battery box. (Due to the 300mm rule adjacent to the brake servo / master cylinder)

On futher investigation the inner wing is rotten right down under the battery box and down to the area behing the front bumper.

Does anyone supply inner wing repair kits / replacment panels ?

How big a job is it to fit these ? the Nearside inner wing is also starting to show signs of metal worm, but otherwise the car is in good shape, and even the MOT tester comented on the good condition of the chassis.


Its not worth a fortune but this could put it off the road if I can find a sensible cost effective repair.

Yeah we all know that feeling. Mines about to undergo repairs too. I have found Island 4x4 both on ebay and on the net which do repair panels of various types and are quite cheap. There is another company that supply white panels too but can't remember their name.

Search discovery panals on ebay and you wll find lots. I generally then go to the net to check the companies out.
