Im getting quotes of £120 and up ,up lots , on a clutch kit for this motor . Since its a bit of a bugger to do I would like to renew the lot even though I suspect its only the driven plate thats thin ,so I wouldnt have to go back and do the job again .
had a look round and paddocks come out at a bit over 100 plus delivery ,Island a little less . Anyone know of a heavy duty clutch since its fitted to series/defender as well ? I will already be reinforcing the release arm with a plate as per the 300tdi....any point to the heavy duty release bearing at £50 ? I will be towing some heavy living vans at some point .
Anyone got a decent ballpark figure to expect ?
