I don't think that the Lady Diana wore ear rings like that! It must be one of Charles that he was hiding for Camilla.

Hope not, but I know that my car projects are frequently diverted by cow pats of misfortune... LOL

i got the new steering box fitted today all works except a small leak from one of the hoses!!!

i cant seem to find the same one on paddocks etc.
There our 2 hoses that run from the pump to the steering box 1 large, 1 small
its the small one thats leaking it comes from the back of the pump by banjo bolt then around to the steering box!
does any one have part number or link to find a part number ??

Found it after hours of searching ntc5001 if anyone else needs it

Got a few bits painted today and started stripping and preparing tub

does feel a shame tho to take away its original colour but don't think I will ever get this opportunity again to build a 90 just how i want it

New shoes

Got all the rear wiring re attached and working, who ever took the tub off just cut the wires at the chassis! Thanks lol

Also sorted the leak from the power steering pipe and the one from flywheel housing / sump Luckily it was easier one just the sump needed re sealing.

Only problem left with the wiring is the glow plugs , haven't got anything coming out of the ignition switch , got the live going in but when moved to stage 1 and nothing coming out to the plugs , I have ordered a new switch as I can't see what else it can be .

Also got the tub in place, still work to do before Painting but easier to work on at this height.

New ignition switch fitted and glow plugs working.

Also got sills , seatbox and floor fitted finger tight as need to do some alignment adjustments.

Just wanted to say that I agree 100% with you on your chosen colour: looks fantastic!

Also took the landy for the first drive in over 10 years today , there was some white smoke under acceleration, only at the top end of revs just as about to change gear nothing on idle or low revs
Is this just pump timing ?

The more I look I think it's blue smoke

Anyone got any ideas on the smoke ??


Got the wings tops on today and more sanding, bonnets just temporarily on for alignment.

Got some painting done today

Also retrimmed the top part of the dash , didn't remove the old material just sanded down as it was in a bad way ....



Still have to trim around some of the fixings points , but very pleased with the result.
Just the lower part of the dash to do next.... I'm painting the rest the 90 on eater weekend as the wife is out with little one on Saturday, so gives me the day to paint and because of the bank holiday Monday I I've got none of my guys loading vans to keep the dust down

I'm pretty much ready to paint !!! Plan is to paint Saturday then it has 2 days to go off properly in a dust free (ish) unit .
Also got some of the dash back in a started retrimming the bottom section .




And a very exciting delivery arrived from exmoor trim today full canvas & hood sticks and seat retrim kits ..

How cool is the bag the canvas comes in
