Happy New Year to everyone.
I'm converting my RRC to a 300tdi, I've fitted the R380 + T/box and have now welded and fitted the engine in place (after a few adjustments).
I've got a few questions, I'm not a mechanic, just someone who loves to work on old land rovers.
The wiring, I don't have the V8 loom anymore and there are alot more wires on the 300tdi. I've managed to workout where most go and their colour codes. Does anone know of have the info on the wiring up of the loom. I found a 200tdi diagram which someone had written out and posted on the internet but it doesn't seem to be the same as the 300tdi. Or do I need to buy a haynes manual?
The other question on my mind are the heater hoses. Is there a flow in and out from engine to heater which has to flow the right way. There are 2 pipes on the bulkhead and 2 on the engine, do they match left to left, right to right or crossed over? Maybe a stupid question but I just don't know.
Any help or pointers would be gratefully received.
cheers, Paul
