Speakers for the radio were glued(silicon) to the top of the dash. I need new speakers and the best place to put them without cutting holes in bodywork. A link for the speakers would be good. Thanks for any input and pics.
I was thinking about under the dash above the footwells.

I can't do links but you can use spacers to bring the speakers forward to avoid holes. I made some out of thick plywood many yrs ago, painted black.

With the older dash, you can buy small speakers that will just fit into the tray either side of the radio. They work pretty well over the lovely engine/transmission thrashing as they are pointing at your ears.

I've seen them fitted to headlining (worked well near head haha )
Seen them in chubby and in pillar where seatbelt bolts to sides. All worked pretty well

Mine are in the headlining, and the volume doesn't need to be high to hear them!
It can be a bit of a bugger to balance them though :D:D

Thanks for the replies, any link for the speakers at side of radio.
I read one that had them clipped to dog guard as well.
Think flat speakers with spacers kit would be ideal.
200tdi in 90 is noisy, 300tdi in rrc is very quiet.
