Hi guys, just thought I would introduce myself. Bought this landy over three years ago and have been rebuilding it ever since. Came to a stumbling block about a year ago after I had the full rolling chassis complete as I cannot spray to the standard I want. But have recently become friends with a guy in a spray shop and we making progress again. in all honesty there is very little of the 1982 vehicle left but I'm having fun and really enjoying the build again, have a lot more time for it now its taking shape. Any of you guys in the East Riding or Yorkshire area? Ken

Looks ok that does;) ..... shame about the ding on the grille panel tho'
And welcome tae the mad hoose:D Shame ye missed the 'INTRODUCE YERSELF' bit! :D

No ding on my grill panel buddy, thats the key slot ;) Might change that yet for a more modern one but that is one of the few remaining original panels left  - I just love the opening to take a cranking handle

Theys all like that on the early ones buster! The badge is verticle, but the panel slopes back a bit.

Mines all bent though, :( cos the ole owners wedged a series wing in there and bent it. Anyone got a straight one spare?

Nice looking 110 though, you keeping the early type slidy windows etc?

Ah was talkin' about the one up near the badge:rolleyes: ;)

Yes Buster its a KEY SLOT - the early 110s opened the bonnet with a key, for fk sake stop rolling your eyes before they fall out :D And the bl**dy great square hole at the bottom is to take a cranking handle   :D

Ye I've got them but as usual the bottoms are all rotten, there was a few replacement kits about somewhere a couple of years ago, not sure if you can still get them. My original intention was to keep it as original as possible but I now just want a very nice clean and usable landy.

Oh, as far as i know the early 110 door bottoms are the same as late series ones, if that helps.

Ye I have all the original doors, haven't got as far as looking at them yet. I've been getting panels sprayed seperately and then bolting them all together. Looking forward to bolting down all the floor panels, tunnel and battery/seat box this weekend.

that ull be a nice un wen yam finished :D theres a cwk up the road from me anurl, cwk 25y i think it is,keep meanin ta knock his door;) ;)
