Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I've just been going through some images from last year. Here's the 109" Shorland armoured patrol vehicle based on a Mk 111 Landy, although you might notice some changes. I saw it at the classic Land Rover Day at Amberleigh - thoroughly recommended - and it followed me home to Burgess Hill.

I've got no problems viewing it on various devices so I've no idea what the problem can be. For those who struggle, I've put it on my website - http://writewheel.uk/articles/shorland-landy/
Sorry if I gave the impression it is mine. I'm more than sorry it is not. The owner is a very pleasant chap who is very willing to chat about it.
I've been meaning to upload some images of the day, but the folder is over 1.5gig. I'm gradually working my way through classifying them. But it's hard going.

Oh, I thought by 'followed me home' it was. Nice thing anyway, different. Wonder how practical it is(n't)?

Me and some other members could beat a path to your door to GIVE you our copies of the worst book about land rovers ever written, by everybody's favourite - Ben fogie - I'm sure he rambles about them in there somewhere.

It's the question everyone must ask. The chap reckons that visibility could be better but other vehicles tend to keep their distance. It's really nice chatting to someone who is so pleased with his car. Or is that vehicle. He goes to a number of local shows so I assume the Shorland might not be perfect for long drives.

I'm local to Burgess Hill too, and saw this at Amberley (really enjoyed Amberley and look forward to this year).

I imagine it would be fairly easy to replicate, all straight panels and could be built using 1mm instead of whatever that is. Bigger side windows for visibility. Nobody would mess you around in that.

Built on a 1Ton series 3 chassis and running gear, running 900x16 tyres, top speed of about 45mph from memory.

Could do with something like that for beating my way through traffic.

What's with the odd shaped back end? Looks like a pick-up with out a load space
