Hi all.

I am going to drive a 1974'ish 3door V8 Rangerover from Kenya to Oxford starting next November. I have a nice example, just need to know if anyone has any suggestions for mods etc that I should get involved in. Don't have much money so will need to keep it cheap. So far have done ignition, quick paint job, new shocks, new bushes and added a second fuel tank... home made of course! and that is it. Has NO oil leaks. Currently drive 100 miles a day on rough African road without a single problem in 10 months!

Does anyone know of any pics of Range Rovers that I could ideas for interior off. Saw some nice ones of a car with tread plate door linings etc but can't them again!

Any thoughts appreciated!

chequer plate door cards? yule need them fer such a long rough journey.. maybe you could make some yerself?

No oil leaks? Frankly i find it offensive that you can even suggest such a thing!!!
Regards ideas, save your money and dont do the chequer plate door card thing. Get at least a front diff guard, some decent tyres and probably rig up a fridge. If you've loadsa money to throw at it, then theres plenty more items you can buy but on a budget those are a few basics you'll defo need!!!
