hi all my landrover was missing half the lights on it so was wondering if any of you would know what lights where originally on there front indicator and parklight and the rear lights?
Weren't indicators an optional extra? Or was it the wipers, or both

From my owners manual.. no indicator. Also no indicators on the photos
If i was drinking tea then it would have just been spattid!!Yes but thats petrol models, everyone knows diesels were way more advanced than that old exploding stuff
Early 2a had the optional indicators as well.Think indicators were optional on 2 models, as was passenger side wiper motor, think 2a was posh and had indies already fitted and wipers wentt to the one motor in the dash.
Early S2 workshop manuals have instructions on how to fit the indicator lamps and the early style dash mounted switch.
Afraid I don't know what happened in 1963, I was a foetus!yea i need indicators on it just wondering what the orginal optional ones would have been were they plastic or the glass lucas bulbs ? like L594
How old is it?hi all my landrover was missing half the lights on it so was wondering if any of you would know what lights where originally on there front indicator and parklight and the rear lights?

Sorry I missed that bitSays 1963 in the thread title!
Strangely, our 64 has plastic lenses. Although they may be retrofitted.
About the first time I haven't missed it, to be fair.Sorry I missed that bit
To much pimms and spending 6 hours on the roof re-cemmenting ridge tiles is my excuse....About the first time I haven't missed it, to be fair.
I am sure the glass ones are nice and original. But I have had lots of Series, and can't remember ever having seen the glass ones.To much pimms and spending 6 hours on the roof re-cemmenting ridge tiles is my excuse....
Looks much nicer with glass ones than nasty plastic ones though
