Do they still run the camel trophy? Whats the difference between that and the G4?

No, they stopped the Trophy some time ago, sad day really. The G4 involves more 'adventure sports activities' such as running, swimming, biking, kyaking etc. Also from what Ive seen the 4x4 routes are pretty crap, just like green lanes really. 80's Camel Trophy is where it's at!

The Camel trophy stopped around 2000 (i think) cos it has more or less transformed into an 'adventure sports activities' and no longer an off-road event. G4 is the continuation to that.

However, there are other off-road events such as the Malaysian's Rainforest Challenge that is still worth a look.
