Have been on the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands for past 28 years. Disco has never failed me on the open road and has never entered a garage except for annual MOT. Haven't failed one yet. Land Rover really know how to build in rust pockets and the Disco is a great example, Gave mine a major rebuild at 200k miles and welded my way from front to back over 18 months, stripped everything, but very little mechanical wear. Secret? Two full self-services a year. Use good quality parts. Get rid of the under-carpet spongy floor insulation at the show room door. Spend 30 years as a Royal Navy Engineer Officer after a really good Engineering Apprenticeship. Love your Landy. I'm 80 years old now and hoping we'll both continue to get the parts we need for many more years to come.

Welcome to landyzone regular users of trampolining naked while juggling multiple Landrovers.
