17inch range rover sport wheels on disco 200tdi????

just got 95 disco and got chance of brand new 17inch range rover sport alloys with brand new tyres. was told they fit disco but have found out they only fit disco 3. is there anything i can do to make them fit(already tried shouting at them, but, like the kids, they didnt listen) any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers

You can get hub adaptors but they cost silly money so I wouldn't bother.
It'll be cheaper to just buy a set of 16" alloys and stick with them

hi, thanks for that, it already has alloys on it but needs 4 new tyres and the brand new rr sport alloys were cheaper than buying 3 tyres for the 16 inch rims.. dont suppose you know where i can get the adapters. cheers, pete

Try simmonites LAND ROVER SPECIALIST SIMMONITES WHEEL ADAPTERS they will probably be able to help. BUT they aren't cheap.

hi mate, im in sunny blackpool. i rang the people you told me about and they said you cant get an adapter plate to fit disco3 to disco1. are you sure they will fit. if so,... how much? tried to email you direct but it wouldnt let me. prob doin somethin wrong... new to all this. cheers, pete
